my 10.5 months dog ears are up but not so hard, already taped them and waiting for result, at what age i should worry? also he has missing teeth is he allowed to breed or no

How thick is the hair on his ears? How big are they, etc. If they aren't up by now though, I would start to wonder if he has lazy ears and if they will ever stand. As far as his teeth, what ones are missing?

He has missing teeth and soft ears. They should be up at 3 months old or earlier if they are sound. They are faulty if you are taping them at 10.5 months.
Why do you WANT to breed him? Too many substandard GSDs being sold now. Look at these ads - all kinds of dogs with no ratings, titles or koers being bred. Big problem in this breed is that everyone wants to breed their backyard pet dogs and make money. SHEESH. Title him. Koer him. If a SV judge says he is breedworthy, then maybe someone will want to breed him.

that is my question, can he be titteled for breeding or no

Missing teeth and soft ears are signs that dog have serious genetic fault and is not suitable for breeding. And who knows what else experience eye of judge could find problematic on your dog. I think that you know answer on your question but you do not want to see reality. Contact breeder - If you pay serious money for show/breed dog you will resolve situation with him but if you buy dog for pet price you just get pet and that is it.

actually i paid serious money for show/breed puppy, from top kennel , what do you mean by resolve situation with breeder!!!

I think he means the dog is not breedworthy and if you paid serious money based on the desire to breed it you may have paid for something you didn't get. I think a lot of people will say puppies are a gamble (a big gamble) on whether they will be breedworthy as adults. This one isn't, from what I understand. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Did you have a contract on the quality of the dog from the breeder? If so, maybe you can post what it says and might get some advice from the breeders here as to what actions can be taken. I suspect it may be a little late to replace/refund. But I'm no expert on these things.
Good luck,
Dawgs

the point that i love my dog, my question is : accourding to SV is it allowed to use his for breeding or no?

by allaboutthedawgs on 15 September 2007 - 00:09
No one is implying you don't love your dog?? Not sure where that came from. Have you checked the SV website? I'm sure they would have the information you need. Also surf around in the articles section of this one, might find it there. A Google search should lead you to the areas you should research.
