PA to NASS- looking for company - Page 1

I'm looking for someone (female?)  to keep my company on the 930 mile drive from Eastern PA to the NASS in St. Louis next month. Leaving PA Oct. 10, starting back on the Monday after the show. Room in dog trailer for a dog or two. Must like audio books, thrillers mostly, ala Dean Koontz, Stephen King...

Also: Anyone have a room reserved at the Host Hotel they are not going to use?

WOW Shelley, I'd love to but, alas, my hubby would never allow it.  (He'd be stuck home with our 3 yr old!)  Ugh...

My hubby is already having kittens because I'll be gone for a week. No kids to feed. Hired help to take care of dogs in my absence (not that I'm leaving many behind...) Don't know why he is unhappy when he can knock back a half a rack of Old Milwaukee, hang out with hs buddies, go fishing every night for a whole week, leave his stuff wherever it lands, destroy the kitchen, and NOT have to try to sleep through classic black & white films every night...

You'd think he'd THANK ME!

I don't even want to think about what this house will look like when I get home.
