What Island are you talking about?  How did you come by the dog?  The way you write English indicates you may be foreign, perhaps German?

Yes, you are right. I´m from Germany. Sorry, I mean Iceland here in Germany it means Island.   In the moment the female "lives" by my Vet. He asked me for help to find a new home for she. Her owner do not want to get she back. I hope you can understand my terrible English.  Looking forward to every answer, Marion

Yes, I understand what you are saying.  It is difficult to translate German to English or vice versa.   The words, he, she, and it seem to be genderless and are used interchangeably.  That and conjunctive verbs seem to change the meanings.  Like xavera indicated, Iceland is a small country and I doubt there are that many breeders there.  Perhaps the owner came to the sieger show and let the dog loose.  Too bad, when an owner is that irresponsible.  I cant help you.  I'd try to find out if there are any health problems with the dog from the Vet.  Best the dog can hope for is a home looking to adopt in Germany.  Good luck to the dog, your vet and you.
