i'm kind of surprised that san antonio (my hubby's hometown) would try this. unfortunetly, we expect this sort of thing in california, but texas?! its like a bad virus.

I know I  thought the same thing, I lived in Texas in the 60's, I remember it well, What was most important was their gun, pickup, pearl beer, their dog with church on Sunday and the rest of the world be damed. Coming from California, it was a culture shock. Now that I am older I was thnking maybe they had it right after all, only to find out they have joined the rest of us.

I heard on Fox tonight that California is back at it again....A town is going to pass everyone has to neuter all pets.....give them one year to get use to the idea and you have thiry days to get it done.  they are gonna go door to door , and you have to proove the deed has been done or you get a warning,   then  $150.00 fine..... and then a stiffer fine down the line.......Bill Oreilly gave him a hard time and told him not too many people are gonna go along with coming in their home and telling them what to do with their own property..and you have to chip them.....The comedian Dennis Miller .followed the interview with a man who represents the city of  Wonder Beach ???? , and said the chip belonged behind the ear of the idiot he just interviewed...about this.....

We had all better get this defeated.........their argument for it is too many stray dogs in towns and it has to be stopped.....Not when you tell me I have to....or else....infringement on my God given freedom of rights.....He said  Oh no , people have violated that right by not taking care of animals correctly so we will tell them they have to........

i wouldn't put alot of credence in fox news. sorry, but they make up a bunch of nonsense much of the time or they just relate part of a story. i've never heard of "wonder beach" anywhere in calif, but hey, maybe there is such a place. in la county we have to neuter our pets or pay alot more for the license and now we also have to microchip them. don't mind the microchipping, and they have low  cost clinics for people who are low income, but i was nervous for awhile with angus cuz i didn't want him fixed til he was older (than 6 mos) and didn't want to pay alot for his license. btw, he was neutered at 11 mos and i sent for his license then (he's 16 mos now) and still haven't received it! i think we all have to watch out that bad laws don't get mixed up with good ones. sometimes i feel we'll be legistated to death! make sure you vote and "talk" to your politicians so they know how you feel. they are supposed to serve us and our interests! it's true what our mommie's said when we were all kids "a few bad apples will spoil it for everyone". in order to go after the bad apples, the animal control would have to have alot more people on the streets. in los angeles, there are just a handful! i think the only way they feel they can address the issue is to "punish" everyone. make sure your voice is heard wherever you live! once laws are in place, its very tough to get them removed!!!

Ya dry here, but coast is wet already and another day or two of rain is doing its number...wet dogs wet cows and wet everything    all is dying , and crops are being ruined all along the coastal     I know rice needs water but whenit washes all the dirt and rice down the canals to the gulf  no rice......

I couldnt think of the town in La...so I called it wonder Beach    it was on fox and they interviewed the man in charge , or the attorney representing the town doing the new bill....I do not want any city telling me I have to neuter my animal.....in the first place,,,neutered pets usually have a weight gain problem...and I dont need to havae to feed a different diet to females or males because of it.....and it will put small breeders like me out of business.....I cant afford a 1,000 a dog to keep it each year to breed....what kind of government are we letting loose in this country....If we dont stop this......we will have to pay 50.00 a month to use the restroom within the next 10 years and if you pee outside if caught , they will castrate you in the public square...and dont laugh....folks  ...if you all can=t see the writing on the walll then put you head in the ostritch hole and keep it there........
