IT'S COMING!!! - Page 1

It's coming! Naya's first birthday, is approaching! It's only about a month away, and she just stuns me how much she's grown and matured! This is my birthday wish for her; To continue to love, protect and amuse me, and in return, I offer her my undying devotion, and a spot next to me on my bed.

I bet she would love to hear some more birthday wishes for her, after all this is the big 0-1! Just look how much she's grown!

I bought her from Cimmerian German Shepherds. I don't know if Chip is still breeding or not...I've tried calling him two or three times, no responce. Good luck getting ahold of him.

Yes, I love my girl more than anything. She was my first German Shepherd Dog, and I must say, I will never buy another breed! I have a few Goldens, but nothing compares to my Snuggle Bunny/Protector!

Greetings and a very Happy Birthday to Naya!!  It's been great keeping up with your concerns and posts.  I believe I either have a half or full sister to Naya...  F Genga Von Haus Cimmerian (freiya).  They are truly beautiful, fun, very energetic dogs....  To my knowlege chip is still breeding,  although I think he is really looking to downgrade.  I have two other of his dogs as well.... Maybe we can exchange pics if you like....

Thank you all, I'll be sure to pass them on to the soon-to-be Birthday Girl! She is the love of my life, I believe she embodies the TRUE German Shepherd Dog, as when she is in the house, she is as laid back as my Goldens, but outside, in the dark, watch out! I can think of a VERY Good example;

I walk my neighbor's child home after she gets off of the School bus, every afternoon. (This is a PRIVATE DRIVE, dirt road) Naya's first time seeing Mackenzie she walked out of the gate, walked up to you, sat right down and let Mackenzie hug her, play with her ears, her teeth, and she just let her.

Then we were walking down the road, and Mackenzie and I were walking down the road, as there are no sidewalks, and the amount of people who live down our private drive is about 10 families. And a car was coming, it was going slow, (and about maybe 500ft. away from us) and before I could call Mackenzie over, Naya starts pushing her with her body, until she is completely off the road and into the woods. Mackenzie was taking a step or two forward so she wasn't in the weeds, and Naya stopped her, and as soon as the car passed, Naya moved and allowed her to get out of the weeds. (Don't worry, I was less than an arm's reach from Mackenzie the whole time, with my jaw dropped watching Naya play Crossing Guard)

A few days ago, Naya at 11.5 months old earned her THERAPY DOGS INCORPERATED Certification, and I had called them and they said she was so close to a year, they would still give her the certification. She not only passed ALL phases of the test, but the tester even commented on the bottom of the form in the comment's section that she would never believe a dog that only a year old could be so masterfully trained, and so bonded to its handler.

Yes, I am bragging. I had trained Naya myself, with no help, and was very pleased to hear such a comment. I'll post her Cert. papers when I recieve them!

Happy Birthday NAYA!!  My Apache just had her 1st Birthday August 19.  They really have matured in this past year.  What a lovely dog Naya has turned into.  Great job with her TD Certificate.  Way to go Naya!
