I am inquiring about the ad for the husband!  Does he do carpenter work?  I need a kennel built, indoor/outdoor runs of course.  Also, does he feed, water, walk, and decoy the dogs?  I just ran across the ad and got a kick out of it!!!  LOL  :-)

Willow,

Thanks for your inquiry.  This is the first time someone has expressed interest in the hubby.  Yes, he is an excellent carpenter and has worked construction on the side for years.  However, I can't vouch for his dog care-taking abilities.  Quite frankly they suck, or else I wouldn't be in this pickle in the first place.

However, he's within the breed standard.  5'9" 165 lbs.  No proven progeny yet, so I can't tell you what he produces.  Works well for praise, enthusiastic for food, but really loves his toys - especially the yellow and black expensive ones with "Dewalt" or "Stihl" on the side.  Not aggressive with other males.  Handler sensitive.  Excellent willingness to work.  No pedigree, but definately from working lines.  Hips and elbows have NOT been X-rayed yet.  Does NOT leave the toilet seat up.

Make offer.  Leash and crate included.

LMAO SchBabe.  You are too much.  I could use a more handy husband.  :)

Although he's been working his butt off with his new business as well.

LOL

I'm sorry but I have just found the perfect one- He is a pedigreed, a proven stud, and has been ex-rayed already, he is a little older, but should work nicely, due to he is already trained in most area's, does seem to be a bit of a couch potato though!  He is a bit hard headed, seems to be aggressive when provoked, I think he will pass the civil test just fine!!

I will however, pass your ad on to a friend who is building a barn, is he good with horses??

Thanks for the laugh I needed it!!

Funny stuff.

I already have a carpenter husband who displays little interest in caring for animals,  refuses to build/repair anything outside the paid, union-employed environment for the most part these days. That lets "home" out categorically, hence the house he built some 25+ years ago remains unfinished, devoid of landscaping, difficult to access on foot or by vehicle, and still featuring a harvest gold kitchen. Doesn't look good for him building me a new kennel structure any time soon either, unless I can engage the services of a good, fast, contractor next time he goes fishing.

Feather River S.C., once 90% female membership, had a sign we hung in the RV window at major events. It read:

WANTED!

Dangerously handsome man.

Must have money, like dogs, look great in shorts.

Will train. Apply within.

We had so much response we actually created an application to hang on the door.

Where are those applicants NOW?
