Tuesday is the 6th anniversary of a tragic event, the attacks on this great country. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives because of radical politics and just evil beings. As a K-9 handler deployed to the World Trade Center that awful day , I am honored with an invitation to be a reader of the names of those who perished that dreadful day. Along with my current K-9 partner, Tango ,we will be joining other responders in paying homage to these innocent and brave people who perished that day.
I ask that in rememberence of the wonderful dogs who gave so much during this awful time as therapy dogs and search and rescue dogsthat you please consider making a donation to The Search and Rescue Dog Foundation, www.sardogfoundation.org.
This year we were able to distribute 2 grants to handlers who were retireing their 911 sar dogs.
Slam me if you will, but I lost my K-9 partner from all the toxic air and only through the generosity of 700 elementary school children did Tango come to be with me.
Can we please put away our differences and pay homage to these great dogs and the work they do, for all of us in our times of need?
Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this forum.

I made my contribution. I've wanted to work in SAR but I'm too old and decrepit. God bless all of you who do.

Sarah:
Thank you for all you do. I am so sorry regarding your loss of Anna but humbled by the generous gift provided by your local school children.
It was great meeting you two weeks ago at Jim's. Your new dog is something. She works beautifully. Enjoyed the video Mel made of her as well. Will you be training tomorrow night?
I will drop a check in the mail tomorrow. Just a small gesture to say thank you!

Hi ,
To all of you who have opened your hearts to assist my fellow volunteers ,a big thank you. If any of you have kids in school or are members of a church group Tango and I offer educational visits to local areas for donations to the foundation. Most people are not aware that we are not paid or that the dogs and expenses are all out of our pockets. Tango does great demo's.
Thank you for allowing me the priviledge of membership onthis board.

Sarah,
I made my donation.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart and that of my family.
God Bless All who have gone on and all who still live in that moment. May God help heal all of those who need it.
For those that are interested, Oprah has a show on this afternoon where she interviews some of the children that have been left without parents from this horrid event.
I know I'll never forget.

K9sar, I do hope people are reading and responding.
I just watched a very powerful slide show from 9-11. I hope people don't let time dull what happened too much.

I will donate on behalf of myself, husband, kids, grandkids, whom I most sincerely hope never need your assistance, and also on behalf of my 2 GSDs, who hope to be like your dogs when they grow up. Thank you. jo
