Hey guys, I was just wondering if you wanted to buy a puppy from one of the current VA, V Males or Females which ones would you buy from and why?  I was just curious to find out which males or females produced good quality puppies.

thanks

Good people, great dogs. Honest and caring families who take the time to help anyone who has one or more of their dogs go as far as they want with them. Small kennels, 2nd & now 3rd generation breeders/handlers who have high standards, know what they're doing, excellent reputations and a high level of success with their own dogs.

Shelley, you're not the first person with good things to say about the Langs, who seem to have excellent reputations - but Maverick didn't ask for breeder recommendations, he asked for recommendations as to specific dogs

And to answer that, we'd need to know a lot more about what he or she means by "quality": for example, a showline puppy with a better than average chance to be a decent worker too?  A pup from the Hill vom Farbenspiel sons VA3 Dux de Cuatro Flores, V13 Hannibal vom Stieglerhof or V14 Andrjuscha van Noort might fit the bill.  Big masculine head?  Maybe Orbit vom Huhnegrab or a similar Ursus-line stud.  Ursus line.  A better than average chance for good hips and great health?  Kirschental.  Etc. etc. etc...

hey guys, sorry i didn't make my question more clear. I guess what i meant was which dogs produce puppies that are not only good show dogs but also have the drive and conformation to be able to work? which dogs produce nice heads, colours, hips, temperament and drive. I know its hard to get one dog that will produce puppies with all these qualities but there must be a few that come close to producing puppies with most of those characteristics. I am not asking to pick one male or female but name a few that you guys think produce puppies with such qualities as i have mentioned. thanks again

Maverick13-

I have a 16 month old son from Andrjuscha van Noort.  I do not show him or work him in schutzhund, but we do agility and obedience. thinking of possible therapy dog someday. I get alot of compliments on his looks (blk/red, large head), but I have not done hips/elbows yet.  Andrjuscha produced the USA youth sieger and youth siegerin at this year's Sieger show in Connecticut. As far as temperment, i couldn't ask for better. he is an absolute love, simply adores children, and lives to play ball/tug of war/etc. he is everything i was looking for in a puppy. hope this helps...

I have a 20 month old daughter from Andrjuscha Van Der Noort.

She is awesome.  Lives to please and do whatever is asked of her.

She has a temperament to die for, loves the children, excellent with cats and other animals.

Solid nerves, never backs down but is not aggressive.

She is working on her tracking right now and smart smart smart.

A pleasure to own, a joy to live with and an honour to hear the compliments on her beauty, temperament and abilities.

I would seriously consider an Andruscha puppy. I really liked the dog in CT. He did wonderful work, went VA, and is just a nice dog to hang out with. No dog aggression, sweet, calm, excellent nerve base, and produces those qualities in his progeny.

NICE DOG!

I also like Randy Brent's VA Ronaldo a lot. Ditto all of the above.
