Best working kennel in U.S - Page 1

O.k I am tired of reading all these adds for dogs that state they are (PPD/ Police/Companion prospects, great temperment at 7 weeks as they really can tell at that age. I want to hear peoples suggestions for the best working kennel to purchase from, price not an issue. 

I am sure I am missing some good dogs but this marketing is such a turn-off.  

Now this should be an interesting discussion. I would guess you would need to define "working" first. Do you mean Schutzhund/Sport titles, or actual working Police K9/SAR etc type dogs?

AJ Singh has had some really good success with his program in sport...he is one that comes to mind right away.

I have a couple more hours to go at work..so hopefully this will keep me awake 

Working to me means true PPD/Police.

Dogs that will work in defense as much as prey, dogs with concrete nerves and extreme drives equal prey/defense/fight.

No one can tell unless they have done a repeat breeding with the same two dogs. Depending on the pedigree and the knowledge of the breeder all they can call the pups is prospects. If you want guarantees, there are none. Even the best combinations can fail. Buying pups/prospects is not like shopping at Sears and years later you get a refund if something goes wrong JMO!

Breeders that are experienced breeders and have titled proven stud and dam,,can tell you ,if this is a second, third or more litter out of these pedigrees, most certainly they are temperament and what their drives are....a 7 week old already showing their stuff ,,very much so,,,in a work line ........
