How did the working line dogs fare in the big show? The Talka Marda dog apparantly made some very good work!

Thank you!
Very nice looking dogs, I was curious as to where the Talka Marda dog placed too?
I would imagine there was a definate difference in the bitework phase between the working line dogs and the showlines?

Just a few personal impressions of the workiing lines at the BSZS 2007...
First... the crowd...
Initially on the final round the Germans surrounding me were making very derogatory comments about the working lines as they gated out near the end of the line. But when their group of 5 or 6 came up for an individual look and heeling round. The vast majority of the crowd gave them a resounding round of applause! I myself stood up and clapped as they gated by! I thought it was a very nice welcome for them overall. The crowd laughed and boo'd at one point when one of the dogs would not heel and then again when .one of them, instead of gating on the heeling, was leaping beside his owner. In defence of the dog that would not heel.... the dog stayed in the ring and gated perfectly right infront of all of the other dogs and then to his owner. It was apparent to me that the reason he would not heel was that his owner for some reason could not physically do the heeling round. That made all the difference to me and was more a sign of dedication to the man that he loves. there was also a small fight between the black and the sable infront of him, but all turned out ok.
My impression overall was very good. They all had very nice movement AND conformation! I really do applaud them for showing up and doing their best. All of them that I saw got V conformation ratings. I did not get to see all of their bitework, but did talk to someone who is partial to working lines and had seen most of them. She made the comment that it was kind of a shock, as some of them did not do well in bite work. I guess this is from the perspective of knowing that these dogs were bred to work well and should have done better. I'm sure that no one failed, and even though it wasn't as good as one would expect, they did fine compared to many of the show lines. I particularly was proud of the solid black, as we all know that they have an even harder time in conformation and must truly be great to V in the show ring!
Hope this helps to bring it home to you in a small way.
I will add some pictures of the working lines that were in the final working male round. I must down size them first.
