I currently have Precision crates and one of my dogs has bent the wires so bad on two of my crates that you can only latch one of the latches on the door not to mention bending the wires like they are nothing.  He sleeps fine in the crate at night with no problems but once in a while if he is in there for a couple of hours during the day he will dig at the door and bend the wires.  I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for crates that I might try that will be made of a more heavy duty guage wire.  I like the fold and carry dog crates best and one door is fine.  Anybody have any suggestions?

Well, I have one little criminal that I call Houdini. He's an escape artist extraordinaire. He has gotten out of everything when he has the desire to. They can hurt their teeth on those wire one's even with the heavy gauge. The thing is with some of these determined dogs you need to give nothing for their teeth to get into. I finally had to get him the Ram 500 from www.RayAllen.com hope that comes through as a link. I have troubles figuring out how to make a link. They have top quality products and reasonable prices. Customer service is great. Never I had a problem with them and believe me, my dogs are a challenge, and determined. No, I don't work for them or get a commission. I just like their stuff.

There are crates on the market that are much cheaper then the Ram 500...Ray Allen's stuff is very good but very expensive...I have had a couple of 500 size crates made for myself and would highly reccomend them...If you'd like any more info on them...contact me...

You can also get them made of Stainless Steel...but they're more expensive and not needed...Your not going to find a foldable crate that's good enough for this type of dog...
