Travisty that the government let him plead only to "trafficing" the fighting dogs, not actually being involved in the matches. I wonder if he has to admit everything as part of the deal?

I cant believe criminals such as Vick has more rights then the innocent victims here in the USA judical system :(

If he plead to trafficing he can have it expunged in a few years and it NEVER happened, So long as he keeps his nose clean.
Super Stars, get Super Star Treatment, Look at the whole Paris Hilton thing... 30 days in jail turned into 30 minutes.

I have a different view. Look at Lindsay Lohan: a day in jail for driving drunk and drugged. I am happy to see a black man did not have his life destroyed (even though he's a monster of a guy, apparently) while super rich white girls are getting away with what they do in the public eye. To me, becoming a color blind nation is more important than what happens to Michael Vick. His penalties may not be as bad as they could have been, but they are much tougher than most celebrities get.

MVF,
This isn't a black or white thing. First Michael Vick is about as big a celebrity as they come. Second he comitted numerous felonies including torturing and murdering dogs, plus illegal gambling. Not motor vehicle and simple drug possesion violations. Apples & oranges you can't compare the two incidents in my opinion.

This is great--a police service dog (a Dutch Shepherd)--not PETA/HSUS/ASPCA--is responsible for discovering evidence that led to Vick's arrest!!
