Has anyone flown from Germany to the US recently on this airline with

a dog?  We are trying to find out about costs as we were just told that

to fly a dog back with this airline you have to go through a shipping company.

Thanks!

Continental is mostly used for shipping within the US.  Breeders use other airlines to ship to US.

The problem we are having is that I have a friend who will be there in two weeks and unfortunately she is

flying on Continental.   I was planning to have her bring a puppy back with her but we are having problems

with the process.

I know I had 2 puppies come from Belgium on Continental due to the heat and they went cargo, but with coming over with a person, should be excess baggage.

For some reason Continental no longer does the excess baggage from Germany.   It may work out fine but

since it is late over there we can't get them on the phone.   The temps should be fine by the time she flies back

here.
