When I saw this video I was shocked and greatly saddened, from a moral standpoint, a philosophical standpoint and the most disturbing thought came to my mind, that these young men are to become the next generation of police officers in the United States. When we as a people lose the basic principle, that all life is precious and disregard the sanctity of life, then all creatures both great and small suffer the consequences.

I agree it's very disturbing, the dog should have been put out of it's misery, one bullet would have taken care of it.  But where the heck does your comment about the next generation of police officers come from????  For that matter, targeting any profession??  That has nothing to do with this video in any way shape or form.   

Hey Judge, I was not able to watch, I saw the first rock thrown and that was enough. I agree with your post without having to watch the violence. I have never been able to understand cruelty for the sake of cruelty. I get sick when I think of needless pain inflicted on any innocent creature. If it's suffering, put it out of it's misery, quickly and as painlessly as possible. And laughing in the background makes me even more nauseaus, how can you possibly enjoy that? These guys need to be removed from duty if this is how they find enjoyment!!

By the way, these men and women come from and will go back to all walks of life, I disagree that these are our future LEOs, with this kind of mentality they will probably be our future convicts. The majority of people in general would never commit these acts and LEOs will be the first ones there to see that justice is served.

I was apsolutly shocked by this clip . SICK bastards !!!  I do not believe that these soldiers will be our next police officers etc  anyone person that finds enjoyment  by hurting an already injured animal and laughing about it  will not be a nor is a quality person!!

However I sure hope we don't classify all soldiers as animal abusers !!! 

My hubby was deployed to Iraq  and he found a starving black and white mutt he was feeding rations to   he named her Liberty . She was flea infested and I send him flea shampoo a collar  and  top spot for her  . If I can get my scanner working I scan a pic of Liberty and hubby sharing  rations :)) giving her a bath Liberty stayed with the troop until they left .

We had disgussed getting her over to the US but it was impossible  she could not come along with the troop returning only obtion would have been a civilian traveling back to the US and of cource the required vaccinations  etc . and the war in Iraq was about 12 months in so  no chance for Liberty to transported to the US.

Hubby then turned the dog over to a soldier that wanted to take the care over as long as he will be active in Iraq.

Don't know what happend to her but I am sure if she stayed along side the troop she did not starve :)) and maybe just maybe she did make it into the states :))

I am a life long Republican and a 9 year Marine. This video was brought to my attention by another dog trainer. It is disgusting. Are these the same soldiers that we want running around lose in Iraq? Should I forward this video to my local stations in St Louis or should it be Nationally? Something must be done NOW!

I urge everyone of you to take similar action. These people are not dangerous to just animals. Enjoyment in this type of cruelty is true depravation and must be curtailed before there is a human victim. These men need to be brought home and discharged immediately.

How very sad... I just can't even find the words.. I'm torn between anger, hurt, disgust.. you name it.. I'm feeling it.... it's just not normal but neither is living over there..

I wish I hadn't ever looked at it......

I wish humans got as torn up about the torture of civilian workers over there.

I will not even watch it ,as I already have tears in my eyes. I already can feel what it contains. I really hate people and life right now. I doubt watching the link would help me sleep better at night. How can a human be so cruel? I guess they see allot of things that are not right and sort of become numb to it. Others laugh so they do not cry. We all fight becoming this, to one degree or another. I'm not making excuses for these men because we all make the choices and turn down the roads we do. I could be as hard as anybody and I fight that every day.

Heaven help those in pain and in need.

you people have no idea what these guys go threw .  you candy-asses sit in front of a computer while their life is constantly on the line.  these guys are probably not in the state they arrived.  how would you be mentally if you saw worse than this daily?    you people can't stomach a dog walking on a few legs and these soldiers have to see mangled bodies all over.  thank God they are there and not a bunch of asses judging one of our soldiers while they are in the luxury of A/C and sitting on their ass in front of a computer.
