maybe try something that has local historical value? make sure you can live with it for a long time and will not make you embarrassed at a later date. "wigglebutt" , well, we've probably all called our pups that at one time or another, but to name your kennel that? not so good. it may be a great kennel (i don't know), but a silly name. good luck and make sure you post it when you decide.

Mine is Native American. It's fun watching people try to pronounce it. Cherokee meaning Faithful, because what one word can better describe a GSD? Uwohiyu. Sounds like (Ee whoe hee you)

Last names, Street names, Favorite pet's name, Surrounding enviroment, Natural elements...etc.
(some examples) Monroe House, Pearl City Kennels, vom "Dragon's Ground", Whispering Oaks, Raging Wind's.....etc...etc...
Maybe they're not the best examples,...but it kinda gives you an idea.
Lots of luck!

What does your user name symbolize?/ Anything important to you?
YOu could incorporate Shasta into it?? Just a thought.
Maybe a special dog that you have had?

If we are talking about a German Shepherd kennels, and if they are from German Lines, then I like to name them as the Germans do - few, but certainly not most, are inclined to want to put their own given name on the kennel (perhaps a matter of arrogance vs humility), but they name it after the area/region/town, or a landmark near where they live. It requires a little bit of research and translating, but it's kind of fun to do. If, on the other hand, you are talking american-line dogs, then (as some of the others stated) something that means a lot to you, or what you want to represent.
