This kennel was mentioned on here a few days ago in another thread so I've been poking around their website. They are breeding animals with good pedigrees but I was kind of struck by the "oddness" for the lack of a better word of these two females:

With xanta I would say they are breeding for the drive and perfect hip score. With Friea I'm not so sure "what" exactly she's bringinging to the table since she is fast normal and doesn't have as many great traits from the short description. Woul dshe be a good dog to use to correct short backs and steep croups? And am I being to hard on Xanta? Perfect hips or not, she doesn't strike me as breeding quality.

I do not like the looks of either of these females, Xanta looks very small to me and is not pretty at all IMO.  Freia is really long and has no angulation-while I am definatly not a fan of extreme angulation, there should be some!  I personally would not want either of these females for breeding.

Did you notice the puppy on the future breeding females page?  That hits me wrong.

can we say German shepherd puppy mill?

did you notice they list the "asking" price and name of person who purchased dog. I do not think it is anyones business what I pay for my dogs and secondly asking and getting are two different figures.

All the signs tell me "STAY AWAY"

Ok, accept for VBK9's initial response, none of these comments are addressing my question regarding the structure of these bitches. Breeding quality or not? Looking at the pedigrees, would you say their genes and heritage outway their physical unloveliness? Requesting a critique on 2 bitches, not a kennel bashing. Thanks.
