Hello Everyone,
Some of you might remember that my girl Naya had perfect (sissors bite) teeth until she hit 16 weeks old. Well, they had remained as an awful overbite until last night. I took this picture for all of you who doubted that at her age of 11 months she would recover, I posted this for those of you who had hope, despite what other said, I posted this for those that feel like they're loosing hope.
I was told MANY times, far too many to count that "If they aren't fixed at 8 months, give her up, sell her as a pet and move on." Well, I bonded with her, and she has protected and served me more loyaly than those of you who said such could imagine. Well, here she is, at 11 months old, with her pearly, SISSORS BITE TEETH!
I AM SO GLAD I DIDN'T "SELL HER AND MOVE ON..."
AND HERE'S HER TEETH

Hi Krista~ do you still have any of the "before" pictures of her bite? Maybe you could post a few of those for the people who never saw how bad it was. Either way, I'm glad things turned out ok Hey, I like the photo gallery of Naya!

Not surprised, Krista, but very happy for you. I'd much rather wait on an overshot bite to correct than one that is level or undershot. Wry bites never go scissors. I always heard that the lower jaw bone is the last to reach full growth in any dog. She's really an attractive dog. Good luck with her.

Good for you for waaiting it out! And Congrats too! I may have posted on the original thread but don't remember for sure. I have seen bites correct themselves with time before. There was some other guy who was posting his dogs bite. It did look pretty bad but I still felt it would improve, hope we hear from him too!

Hey Guys, thanks! Some people on this board view dogs as something like stock trading, if the stock is going to drop, sell it, well, I'm not like that. I'm here for my dogs through the good and bad, because they're here for me too.
Yep, I'll post some of the "Before" pictures, later on today. Thanks again all!

Ok I can't get a hold of Krista, and I have a really really stupid question. If the bite was corrected at 10-11months old why does it look like this? I took these pictures of Naya last night. She is 1yr 8months old now.Thank you for your help.

Yeah I would say that Naya still has a major over bite for sure. It's obviously way to late in the game for her over bite to be cured too!!!

Well, if her bite was ok at 11 months...I just don't understand how it can be this way. I know she was going to be a breeding female with Krista, but I don't think we should breed her looking like this.... I don't think her bite will improve at 1yr 8months old. Who knows?!
