His there anything you can give a dog to stop the loss of pigmentation in his nose, i.e. looks like what i here people call them winter nose, where parts of the dogs nose is black and the other little bit a bit lighter in colour.

From what I know its usually caused from, cold, ice, frost, snow, so keep him in a warmer place or sometimes plastic food or water bowls will cause it too, so change dishes. Hope that helps.

My black and tan lost most of the pigment in her nose a few years ago.  I took her to the vet to find out what it was and if I could help her.  They asked me what type of bowls she has for food and water.  All were plastic.  They told me to go to stainless steel and it should clear up.  Didn't take long at all and it was gone.
