Mike Vick VS The Jury
by Do right and fear no one on 11 August 2007 - 04:08
The sad truth is, the M. Vick jury will resemble the OJ jury. I am not talking about black and white. I am talking about "fans" and those that want to be rewarded with a party by Vick (as OJ did with his jury) and recognition by the media, after he gets a conviction on a much lesser charge, which gives him probation and allows him to play pro football.
OJ had a party for his friends and invited the jury. Several of them went and hob nobbed with OJ and the other celebs there. Additionally, several of the jury made the media circuit rounds, appearing on talk shows and the like. The Michael Vick jury will want their 15 minutes of fame on TV and no one is going to want to book them if he is convicted. Only if he is not or is just convicted of a minor violation, such as having multiple dogs without a kennel license or some such nonsense.
My personal prediction is that someone will step forward and claim that they were the owners of the dogs and the fighters of the dogs, and Vick had given them permission to have dogs on his property but was not aware they were fighting them. He will of course plead guilty to attending a dog fight, but not actually participating in any other way, and will pay a fine and have to do community service in the animal welfare community.
I busted a member of a well know rap group in Cleveland (Bones, Thugs and Harmony) (they were huge at the time), and his "manager" who did not have a criminal record, came forward and stated that the drugs were his. They were not, but the court was satisfied and allowed the manager to plead guilty to the drug trafficking charge, and let the actual bad guy off. I was furious but you can not go against the prosecutor as it is HIS case, not yours, once the arrest has been made.

mr.vick lives here, were i do , the jury will be alot of country folk and there are alot of dog breeders there, so it is a toss up what will happen, maybe they will stand up and hold him accountable for allowing his family to use his fame to make alot money,it is sad someone who could help his family would do it in that way, hurting animals as well as now his family ,and him self, but what goes around comes around. So we will see how are justice system works in the country .

once again justice is only done if they're found guilty??? what ever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty????? if you can prove they're guilty then they are guilty. if you can't prove it they are supposed to be considered not guilty.

See that is where this country is butt backwards it should be GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT
There would be less crime and OJ would of never got off!!!!

EK: thank god you weren't one of the founding fathers of this country. well maybe if you were you would have seen the injustices that they did before leaving england and would never utter such stupid words. you see with guilty until proven innocent all anyone would have to do is accuse you of a crime and if let's say you were home alone watching TV you have no one to say you were there. hence no way to prove you didn't commit said crime. hope you like a 6x6 room for life. or worse, a smaller "room" 6ft under if it's a capitol case you couldn't prove you didn't do. OK, i give let's switch it to guilty until proven innocent. are you ever anywhere alone or where no one would remember you??? just give me the days and times. oh, and by the way you own any property i might like to get my hands on????? yeah might not be so bad after all.
