well first of all she wouldn't have a V (conformation rating excellent) with no titles.  So unless her name is V Raven, that's the first untruth - otherwise I have no idea if the picture is the dog Raven.

She is from the "V" litter.....the new owner just didn't want to give her a name that started with a "V".  I had a Cimmerian dog that the previous owner didn't give it a name that started with the proper litter letter!  I actually have had 2 dogs that way.

Sticking a "V" in front of the name is really pushing it.

PURPOSE OF "CALL NAMES" IF YOU DON'T LIKE LITTER LETTER. SOUNDS FISHY!!!

I agree with you Policemom.

I think it's a bit dishonesty to tell you the truth.

If that's the case powerhouse then there should be a hyphen between the litter letter and the name, ESPECIALLY if it's a "V"!!!

There is never a hyphen    there are others with the same thing    a single letter before the name    its just a coincident that it is a V

there is one listed with a S    and one with    a    VP  it is common on this kennel...this dog is four years old and doesnt have titles..he is a utilitydog and they use them for protection and security.....I couldnt find titles....and I can't  speak the language, I can read it , some , enough to wade thru...He has been bred    he has a list of progheny.....

Most times people who don't use the litter letter are just inexperienced owners that think the REGISTERED NAME HAS TO BE THE DOGS NAME (CALL NAME)!  See it happen all the time!  They are not familiar with how the "more" professional breeders use the alphabet to track their litters!  These are usually the same people that name their dogs Bubba's Candy Shak Jones.....or something silly!  But, have you ever translated some of the meanings of German dogs?  They have silly names like Troll of the bad neighborhood and Toro of the bad neighborhood!  Anyone know which VERY WELL known dogs those are?  I do!  Kind of funny really!
