I should have went into a little bit more detail about Lucy,

No i don't intend on breeding or showing & i'm not into the competing thing, I just want her to be a good dog.

And hopefully i'll get a picture of her out here soon. She looks alot like Fury, they could be twins.

I was just looking for advice or helpful hints from people that also own german shepherds, being this is my first one.

I would really appreciate any input.Being I dont know what to expect.

Have you talked to her breeder at all?  I know I have asked mine every question under the sun. Also do you have a trainer in your area, maybe if you post were you live, some one here could give you a good trainers name, even if its just for basics, you might find it more fun then you think.  I can tell you ,Fury needs a job, she is very smart, sometimes to smart!!! She is great at anything I ask of her, and not kept busy(thinking)she will find things to do on her own. I would love to see her!! Do you have any pictures of her, you could email them to me if you can't post them.   katie
