DM Flash Tested for the dna marker for DM,. What is this and where would you get the test done?

I went to the Health/Genetic data base (seen on this board) and I was looking and many of the dogs

had this. Yes, most were American shepherds but is it common in ALL shepherds?

NOTE: I was very surprised to see that the Americans were more willing to SHARE the good , bad and ugly
