My babies............Nenz and Spunky, pictures! - Page 1

My friend put these pictures on for me. Top one Spunky aka Zippy vom Haus Miller, is 3 1/2 mos, bottom she is 4 mos. and middle she is 5 mos. Nenz (Nenz vom Klebinger SchloB) was four when I got him and now he is 5. I found out by typing his name in search that he was actually registered on this database in 2003.  Nenz was my free dog because of hip dysplasia. I liked his temperament so much I got Spunky because she is his half-brother Yasko's granddaughter. She is a Tyson vom Arminius x Hanna vom Haus Miller pup.  Both dogs I got from Vom Haus Miller German Shepherds. She was $1,500 but I got a discount for giving Nenz a good home. Both are awesome dogs, she protects me when we are out at night and he guards the house and yard. I would like any comments anyone would have and just wanted to have their pictures on here because I am so proud of them and love them so much. Thanks..........Amanda T. Carlson

Thanks! By the way, I know it's hard to tell without seeing them stand up, which they won't when I take pictures, but does anyone have any opinions on the way they look, weight-wise? The same night I had these pictures put on, my friend said she was concerned about me possibly losing my dogs because they are too skinny. Middle picture most recent,a  couple weeks ago. I told my boyfriend and he just laughed, yeah right, he said. I told my friend (she said Spunky looks skinnier, is anything wrong) this is a working dog. That's what I got her for. Working dogs are usually leaner than dogs that sit around on their butts all day. I recently put myself on a low-fat diet and increased walking from 2 to 4 miles a day, and Spunky is always with, even walking 8 miles with me once. When we come home I just want to sleep but she has enough energy to play with other dogs, 3 one day, 2 pit bulls and a shepherd mix,within several hours of each other!  She doesn't seem to mind all the walking at all...............and she especially enjoys her double cheeseburger and ice cream at McDonald's.

They look great, not too skinny at all! Especially if your big boy is dysplastic, leaner is better! Sounds to me like they have a wonderful life, and a loving owner! And look at those beautiful big ears!!!! jo

LOL, people seem to know everything don't they?

Looks like  normal growing GSD!  You do not want GSD or any breed for that matter to be too heavy while growing. 

They look healthy to me, very good looking, both!  I can see why you're so proud!
