I just want know about peoples experiences importing GSD from Czech republic. Want are the requirements and what company ro persons they had to pick up dog f or health check and shipping.

I'm planning on shipping a pup next year in feb. and have never imported anything out of the country, would love some help from experienced people.

I imported several from Slovakia (Eurosport k9) They were great! They took care of all the paper work and shipper sent me a copy of bill of lading via email. Printed it out, went to airport and then took bill of lading to cargo.then proceeded to customs then back to cargo to pick up dog.

Depending on airport will depend if pick up is smooth. Most of the dogs including my pup came through Newark International. Very easy. Laguardia/or Kennedy is difficult , cargo city is huge!

Very good communications. I gave Eurosport date I wanted dog. They shared flight info and asked which I prefered.

I also had my dog imported from Eurosport and the process was very smooth.  We had to drive to Dulles Airport to pick him up but the process was simple.  The cargo people were the ones who took forever to bring the dogs over and send the paperwork to customs, but other than that it was easier than I expected.

The biggest problem with importing a dog from Slovakia and Eurosport is that the process ends up being so easy that you end up getting spoiled and wanting more than one of their dogs. :)  The other problem is that with all the choices they have, it's really hard to pick....
