my female is in heat and I noticed a thin bubble 6 inches from her vagina area. I don't know if it would be her ovaries or a proble. Please respond quickly. Thanks.

is there another thin bubble in approx. the same area, on the other side of her abdomen? Looks like her nipple to me - if so that is normal for the nipples to get a little bit more noticeable when the female is in heat.

no, not her nipple, this bubble is about an inch in diameter. It is in between her 3rd set of nipples.

Looks like a Cyst skin type lesion, have the vet check it most likely harmless but this is what it looks like to me.

This is just a guess on my part, as during the heat cycle the nipples become enlarged and sometimes weep a bit. Could it be mild mastitis that has migrated away from the teat through the lymphatic system? It sounds like a low-grade infection that may disappear quickly or need treatment. If it is a soft bubble it is probably not a tumour, and the latter takes a long time to grow. I would keep an eye on her, watch her body temperature, behaviour, etc. and take her to the veterinarian if this does not pass quickly.

the bubble is really thin and you can feel her insides.

Patches, that sounds like a hernia. You'd better get her checked by a vet ASAP.

ok, thank you all. I will get her in first thing and repost to let you know about her. Once again thanks.

That sounds like a hernia to me. That can be repaired, but the veterinarian may want to wait until the heat cycle is finished-maybe not. It could also be a sympthom of closed pyometria infection, and only an exam will reveal is her womb is severely inflamed. But, if you incur pyometria, it is usually a few weeks after the end of the heat cycle as the invading organism needs time to reproduce. I would keep a close eye on this and make sure it does not become so large that the intestine protrudes, as that can cause gangrene and a deadly infection. t sounds like she needs a trip to the veterinarian, and hopefully not an emergency trip.
Best Regards and Good Luck
