Strange dog - Page 1

I just was wondering what people thought of this female GSD. She looks different form most German dogs I've seen and she is V Rated. To me she is very finely boned and long in both back and legs. what do you guys think.

Well she has very nice lines and must be quick regardless of looks.

That s what the german shepherd is suppose to look like according to  Mark vom Stephanitz and what a working lines looks like.

I just i see so many GSD Work and Show today with heavier builds that she seems to stickout from the rest, at least form me. Any way, she is a nice looking dog

Sometimes pictures are deceptive also.  I have a bitch with good bone who weighs about 85 pounds when very slim, and her picture makes her look fine boned and tiny.

she is very feminine, very "petit" in bone structure, I like more strength in bone even for females, more muscle, and especially a stronger head - her head looks like a border collie or other "light" breed to me.  Her shoulder is straight, her back is  really long, east/west in front (appears) - but, the picture, stack, coat, presentation is excellent "V"s can be made on presentation alone.  If she was presented to the right judge looking like she does in the picture, then I can see "V".

Yes, Molly I like bigger heads on my females....just a quick funny story...I had a litter advertised and lady came and likes pups..Her vet told her to ask for OFA papers which I gave her copy of both...went to her vet , he looked at the female and males pics and said....woa   there is something radically wrong here,,,,,,this is not right   her females head is large and not what a german shepherd females head should look like and all her females have big heads   I dont think this is the right breed....you need to look elsewhere  lol   she bought the pup because she took references and got other opinions and actually saw pups from first litter...her female is gorgeous now 

    I think the black females are slimmer in structure, and I like bigger bone also....Miss vice pres elect   saw your ad in an issue of Schutz magazine , finally arrived  , my partner gets them to me 6 mos late...so I stay behind..
