You selfishly flooded the advertisement section with your useless ads for your own litters. You have no desire to let others have their chance of advertising their dogs/litters on the front page so therefor I'm happy to tell you that I've added your name and contacts to my "Not NOT buy" list.

I don't do business to those who's an egocentric moron such as yourself.

Hi Brittany:

Let me share some words of wisdom with you - please don't be so abrasive, you could have said the same thing nicely.  I don't even know who the major Kennel is, but obviously he sounds desperate.  Let other people make a decision whether they want a puppy from him or not.  Meanwhile, remeber you don't run this site.  If Oli has an issue with the Ad, he will remove it personally and you have the same right on your website.  Thank you, and I hope you don't get too upset with my comment.

such a number of continuous adverts is inexcusable, but typical of too many selfish people. They have an excellent and unequalled advertising facility on this site, and then abuse it.

And yet, not the first time that it has happened on this site, so why the censure now?  Yes it is rude, but there are so many ads on the site they may have felt that it had a better chance of being seen, I don't know.  Whatever the reason, it is a free site and nobody forced anyone to be here.

So please tell us: how many continuous repeats of an advert is acceptable? Then we can all do acceptable advertising

by JudyK on 03 August 2007 - 11:08

I strongly agree with Videx.  When you initially place an ad you are given one of the premier spots on the front page of this site and as more ads are placed your ad moves down the list and eventually off the front page.  To hog all five spots on the home page is just rude. Personally,  when I see that I automatically assume that person has a lack of integrity that extends far beyond simple posting.

by p59teitel on 03 August 2007 - 11:08

Rather than deliberately hogging the ad section, did anyone think that it could be something as simple as the advertiser being unfamiliar with how to post an ad or not being able to "see" it himself and thinking it didn't take when entered?

I assume some of you demand the same perfection in yourselves that you do of others.  Frankly, that sounds like a lousy way to go through life.

Two or three duplicate postings I can chalk up to inexperience but when you consistently see some people with 5 postings (exactly the number of slots on the home page) then you have to wonder..........

Benefit of the doubt once, maybe twice, but more than that, NO, Its selfishness. What if the person advertising just ahead of the "selfish 5 timer" is desperate? They are "pushed off".
