I am the proud and happy owner of an incredible pup out of Shelley Strohl's V Carol Arolser Holz (3) x V Gabi Arolser Holz (1) repeat breeding.  Many of you know Shelley as an incredibly dedicated breeder and trainer.  She missed a deadline for advertising in the local papers and I got lucky.  After having tested litters of puppies for more than a decade for a variety of organizations and for personal use, I was pleasantly surprised to have a pick of five males out of this great breeding.  My choice was made tougher by the fact that the litter is uniformly strong  -- of the five pups, one was high-drive and strong (too much for me, but he will be a high scoring competitor in the right hands), three were nearly identical (I just picked the middle, as I liked his conformation prospects a bit more), and one was a bit softer (but he will be a great OB and TR dog, I think).  So the big male (Dieter), the high drive working male (Dante), and a sweet, probably single purpose little genius (Dylan) are still available.  And the females might be even better!  Diva is gorgeous and driven!

It's hard to ask certain questions of a breeder, and I think that this database could be  good place for people who have examined litters, breeders, and dams to speak up.  In this case, I got to meet both sire AND dam -- despite SchH successes, these two were completely social with me, a 220 pound male.  If you want a gorgeous, social, working sable pup out of V parents, find Shelley ASAP.

I don't wanna find Shelley!

She needs to move her rear end back to California. I need help in Sch, especially tracking.

If you need help looking Shelley, just let me know what your specifics are and I will look on this end for you. I'd put you up but I live in town and don't have room far any more dogs on the property.

That's funny, as I told Shelley that, for my selfish purposes, I was hoping she'd stay in the east!

Hi! I have a puppy from the B-litter vom Frauengarten, same parents as your D-litter pup, and he's absolutely the best! Wonderful conformation, stable temperment, excellent drives, gorgeous deep red sable color ( his picture here on the database does not do him justice, he's much darker than he appears in that photo ), and, like his sire Carol ('T'), he's an awesome companion, very handler sensitive, seems to know just what I'm thinking all the time.....I helped Shelley a little with that litter, and I fell in love with Dante...he's gonna make someone very happy!!! And those females are awesome! Very intelligent, inquisitive little dynamos! Have fun with your wonderful new boy! jackie osborne

Thank you all so much for the kind words and positive reports. I am doing everything I can towards getting out of here and setting up in a better place/situation ASAP. Winter is coming. No place for the dogs here when the weather turns, so I still plan to be gone from here by fall. Don't know for sure where-to yet, but I am considering several options/offers around the country, and will continue to welcome all suggestions offers. No locations being considered thus far are in PA , but I hope my friends here will come visit me wherever I end up on a regular basis, and look forward to making new ones near my new home. Wherever it is, its bound to be better for woman and beast than where I am now. ;)

Subliminal message~ California, California, California, you want to move to California! All the crab and avocado's you can handle. Longer training season, warmer winters, tracking in Woodland....LOL

If I can, I will, believe me. May take me awhile, maybe a year or two, maybe a lot earlier, but sooner or later I WILL come "home."

You can take the girl out of California...
