I stay in a place where there is a scarcity for water. So though a nice lawn would hv been the best idea, i cannot afford that luxury for the fear that green grass would soon be brown grass!!!

So I was contemplating using artifical grass- it resembles the original stuff - only cows would know the difference. I plan to install this outside the kennels in the Run. Basically aesthetics is the motive. Moreover it will look good and dogs look best on grass.

I installed it in my back yard.  It is very easy to keep clean and disinfect.  It does get warmer under foot, but drains well.

Rezkat, believe me it is not cheap.

For just a 10 X 10 matting without the drainage and border, just the material it runs from $500 - $650 depending on the quality.  Another website is "foreverlawns.com".
