DEAR EVERYONE: I found so many kennels using the words of "VOM" & "VAN DE" before the
name so I guess they mean "OF". But what is the word of "VAM"??? is it a word or some thing
special..??? Sorry for stupid question from a new fool in China!!! Thanks in advance.
Best personal regards to all.

There was a previous thread on this. 'Vom' means the same as 'von der' which means 'of the' "Von' means simply 'of', so 'XXX von XXX Haus' means 'XXX from XXX house', and XXX vom 'xxxx Land' means 'xxx from XXX land or country.

JENI/SUNSILVER : Many thanks for your comments.
If all 3 of "VOM", "VAN DE" & "VON DER" are the same as "OF/FROM" & the "VAM" is not
the German word, could it be possible from the other countries??? as a kennel in China
had been using it for years???? why??? any idea...... thanks again for all others.

Greetings to China!
Why don't you give us the entire sentence or context in which you found the word? Would be a start!
