Aloha all,

I have a 2.5 yr old female. I am trying to figure out if her bloodline is "good". I am not an expert in how to tell how "good" good a bloodline is, so any sugestions would be great.

She is scheduled to get her elbows and hips tested next month. Her call name is Sofie, and there are pictures of her and her 'brother' Ranger (a Mal) on the website in my signature block.

any opinions on her line?

Thank you all in advance!

Not enough infomation to make an educated answer.  Although at least the Hips were done.  That says something.

There are a few SCHH titled dogs...that's comforting. Not as many as some, but still promising. Hips have been certified so that is also comforting. What has me curious is the fact that the sire and your pup were born within the same year....

that also had me curious. Haven't gotten any response from their owner after multiple attempts to contact him.

I also found out after i got her, that they are back to back breeding the dam. I searched for her siblings and found a female from the same dam and sire that was born only 6 months after my female.
Turns out the guy that owns the dam/sire is also a pet store owner and he over breeds his dogs and pushes them through his store.

Chloe
I only know a couple of Dogs going way back around 6 generations in the Dams pedigree. But what i cannot see is what the two other Guys posting on this thread can see regarding Joint certifiying.
I can only see the Mother of your dog being done, No grandparents and only TWO of the G. Grand Parents on the Maternal side, that makes only 3 of 7 dogs being joint certfied unless i am going Cuckoo.
However you are getting your dog joints done which is great, Whatever the good or not of the bloodlines  of the Dam she is still the same Dog so enjoy her

Well I can tell you a little of the topside of the pedigree that you gave information of ....... Alf I have personal knowledge of, his kennel is from Ahaus, Germany  ...... a very strong dog with superior nerves, work ethic and disposition and made multiple breedings in his day in Germany, made it to the LGA also ...... his mother Fenzy vom Fegelhof was a super mother line ...... bred with differant males each time and produced many good titled working dogs in Germany. Regards ............ Greg
