You might also try Tammie Coleson, Loyal Heart German Shepherds in Hooks Texas

I am in Texas, and although the dog came from France, I could not be happier with him.

My one recommendation is that you go over and get the pup. I don't know where you live in Texas, and it is the size of 4 regular states, but if you are near San Antonio, maybe we can get together and you can see if this is the type of dog you like.

I am in Austin and have a two week old import litter.  If you are looking for a show line puppy, this litter is one of the best in the US.  You are more than welcome to come meet our crew!

I purchased my dog from Tammie Coleson with Loyal Heart German Shepherd. My dog is exactly what she said he would be.  You will find her to be honest and dedicated to improving the breed.

I don't know these people but I did just look up the litter and if you're really interested in quality, the litter mentioned above by RompNRun should be a very nice one.  Both parents are fully titled and breed surveyed and come from excellent bloodlines.

Why not just get a used model from the pound.

If you are not working it does it have to be brand new?

I have done a lot of rescue work over the years and I learned to be very leary of rescue dogs when you have young children. You are not always told enough about a dog. Nothing happened with my children because I would never not supervise them when with the dog. The dog that taught me this lesson spent a wonderful two weeks in my home not once doing anything wrong or showing ill temper or fear behavior. one evening he was counter surfing and I went to pull him down to which he answered you die before I let you hurt me like other have done and it was on. I have been attacked by other dogs but this one was serious. I controlled him and shoved him out the back door and called ac to which I was informed they had been looking for this dog to euth it and the rescue lied to me hiding it. A less cautious person may have had their children around this dog more than I had and it could have ended very badly.

I do all I can to always help rescues. You can suggest rescues to people but please find out why they are looking to purchase a puppy beforehand telling them they are buying just so that it is brand new.
