I am thinking of feeding my dogs the K9 Kravings Raw diet. Does anyone feed this food? If so what do you think of it? Also where can i get it and how much does it cost per pound?           Thanks

Very good food, though it is somewhat expensive.  For one or two dogs the cost probably is not going to be prohibitive, but more than that and it get real expensive real quick.  I use it for some of my dogs and have had very good results, I have also seen many other dogs that are fed this and they too have had outstanding results.  Another consideration is that if you travel frequently with your dog it can be difficult, also you are not permitted to leave the country with it.

You can look on their web-site (k-9kraving.com)  to find distributers near you or if you are in the Baltimore area contact the manufacturer directly.

Good Food. Correction... Great food...Fed it for a while. As stated it is expensive for more than 1 or 2 dogs.

( I feed Canidae ALS right now sometimes I will do K9 kraving for picky pups or in combination with kibble)

Local Distributors will sell it at a mark up so unless you can buy in bulk/direct the prices vary from close to what distributor gets it at to an enormous amount more.

By far the healthiest I feel dog food wise out there, but I haven't noticed enough of a difference from feeding Canidae ALS to feeding Raw.  Also with Raw and young dogs you need things like Structure or Vertex sometime for extra calories or you will really spend a lot esp with a male dog.

Sometimes it is nice as you only need to feed it Once a day. However I like to feed my dogs twice a day half their portion of raw in the am and the other half pm if I am feeding it. I just don't believe in that ONCE a day rule regardless of the quality of dog food esp. for young dogs (under a year) and older dogs over 9 and up.

I have nothing bad to say about raw except if you travel it's tough and unless you can buy in bulk (2 or so freezers worth) directly from K9 KRaving it can be spendy. The guy that owns k9 kraving is great check out his site.

I'm a distributor for K9 Kravings in the NE.  You can't go wrong feeding it!  I've been feeding it now for 4  years and all the dogs do great on it.  Just about every member in our club feeds it also.  I've always fed raw, and spent every Sunday making up the next weeks meals for the dogs, grinding veggies, etc.  was just to time consuming.  This has been a godsend for me.  Cost will differ, depending on locality, shipping costs etc. figgured in.  Good luck with your choice.  But it is a very good food.

This is a great food especially for pups and whelping dams.  I raised my girl on it and as they say, you can't argue with results.  I was particularly impressed too that, after posting about it on another board, I got am email, then a phone call from the president of Boesler Packing asking how I liked it and how they could make it better.  Now that's customer service. Unfortunately, I had to switch to dry food because it started getting too expensive when she was eating two tubes a day, plus the fact that I had to drive two hours to the only place I could find to get it.  But if I ever get another pup it will definitely switch back.

eems like an excellant food.  But no prices on the site.    What does it cost to feed?

great food - but shipping it to the distributor adds alot - if you can buy in big bulk or get buddies to go in on  an order - go for it.  And always remember the recalls - this is made in US - I used it on and off for the last five years
