Help, I would like to purchase a puppy from the Wildsteigerland Kennel and I am wondering if any person out there has purchased one.....they do not speak any english and I need to have my emails  translated.   Do you know about the kennel - I hear Martin and Maria are very respectful people.........and will a 3 1/2 month old girl travel ok and bond with me.  Is it safe for her to travel.  I am not a pro at this.

Hi Renz:

I have met both Martin and Maria, they are great people and will never give you an impression they are so accomplished.  They are great hosts as well.  I have bought two dogs from them.  Thet are totally trustworthy, I would buy anything sight unseen from them.  Yes, it is o.k. for a 3.5 month to travel and bond with you.  If you need help, you can contact me.

You might want to get in contact with a member here by the name of Jantie. You may contact Jantie at jantie.demeyere@gmail.com and you may also want to visit this site that Jantie made http://jantie.demeyere.googlepages.com/ (the english version)

Jantie has some experience with the kennel :)

Brittany, there are many aspects of that saga that were not made public here.  And you've been told this before.  You would be well advised to not comment further on this matter for several reasons, not least among which would be your own potential legal liability for libel or tortious interference with contractual relations if you drove away business.

I will say this: knowing what I do know, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a dog from vom Wildsteigerland.

I have been to their kennel and spent time at their home.  I highly recommend you purchase a dog from them.

Respectfully,

Thank you so much for the positive feedback and taking the time to answer my request - you have all been so helpful.  Whatever I read about these people is so respectful and they have quite a name for themselves.  I am not a pro at this and I have always watched and loved their dogs.  Thank you again.

The hardest part will be communicating with them unless things changed. They are not big advertisers of their dogs and I believe alot of their sales are over there. They have always had a wonderful reputation and their dogs First Class. Good luck and I hope you will be able to import one, Im sure you will be satisified. VB

Renz,  I have not yet imported a dog,  But if there were any kennel I would consider importing with....  It WOULD be from Wildsteigerland.   They're reputation is unsurpassing,  they're accomplishments unyielding,  and every contact I have ever made agrees they are indeed Humble.  Good Luck to you.   ohhh,  and YES the pup will bond to you,  Age has nothing to do with bonding though it is a common preconceived misconception.

Renz, There is an older son of Wildsteiger-Land Haus and he lives next door to his mother and father and he speaks English very well.  I do not think you would have any trouble sending an email and let the son translate for them.  They breed together, so I do not think a pup from either of the kennels you could go wrong.  ecs

Funny, the hips in those x-rays look to me like certain environmental factors during growth caused this. See, these are the downs of medical care, some would argue this is genetic and others would argue this is trauma to the hip and fractures to the bone due to weight and injuries.

I see the later because the right looks calcified (injury/trama) before puppyhood ended or (2-3 years of age), to me this is a weight, exercise, crate issue without free will movement.  Either way the dog looks to me to be crated most of his puppyhood.

DoggieDr. what do you think?
