The Schutzhund world lost one of its great trainers, helpers, and human beings last weekend. Owen Tober, founder and training direction of the Schutzhund Club of Buffalo died suddenly and unexpectedly last weekend. Owen was talented, kind, generous, and endlessly helpful. I, for one, will miss him dearly. Our deepest condolences to Kathy, his children, and the Buffalo Schutzhund Club.

Yes, Gayle, a horrible shock for many of us......................we loose one of the best trainers the SchH world had to offer!
His love for the breed, regardless of lineage, his honest evaluations and uncanny ability to read each dog for it's needs and strengths, and to bring out the dogs full potential will be hard to match.
He was always honest and a pleasure to work with. Respected by many.
HE WILL be greatly missed by many people..........................................A HUGE LOSS!

Very sad, members from my club who attended their last trial spoke very highly of Owen and his club.
Does anyone know what happened?
