To all breeders or GSD sellers!!!

One person with email name "Sandro Sandro" asked me before a lot of days if i sale 2 of my dogs and he made me an offer. I told him that the one is not for sale and for the other i want half money he offered me. Then he told me that he is not interested for this dog and that he wants the other. After days and days emailing me for that dog, i told him that i will sale her and that i want 5000 euro. The answer was "you are dreaming, with 5000 euro i can buy a V dog" . Please tell me can i buy a V dog with 5000 euro? Then he told me that he doesn't trust me and that my dogs are only for pets ( before some days he was begging me to sale him those 2 dogs). Tell me what should i do with those people and unfortunatelly they are a lot!!! Do you know anything about him?

What were the dogs he was interested in? were they titled? hows the dogs hips? whats the ratings? Pedigree? How much are you asking for the ones whom your selling? Can you show us the links to these dogs? Pictures included?

I think it's up to each individual to decide if the dogs are worth what the owners are asking for because after all.. the money is coming from the buyer, not seller.

For me. I wont buy a dog that cost 5000 euros without it being certified for free of HD/ED.. Has a Show rating, titled (SchH1) and has solid steel nerve with great working ability. Videos and pictures (none photoshopped) are required before I go on with the transaction.

I have to be very drunk or high on a narcotic drug to pay 5000 euros for an unproven puppy, Including paying for a dog that has very poor conformation (Roach backs, etc) whom the breeder calls "World class".

I often see breeders charging their V rated dogs SchH2 titled and KKL1 dogs (whos father is VA in BSZS) around $7700 with shipping.

First of all we are talking abour show lines not working. Second, you can see the dogs in my website www.shepherdland.gr

He wanted Festa and Lesli. I told him that i sale Festa for 1000 euro and Lesli is not for sale. The price of 5000 euro was to avoid him but Lesli worths a lot. Her prelimary exams are very good and she has very strong character and excellent movement. She was VP1 in Athens Sieger Show and her anatomy and pigmentation are very good. She could be easy saled for 5000 euro but this is not the point. You see it is very different when we are talking about show lines and working lines. In first case you pay the character and the training but in second case you want much more that you can see from the young age. The fact is that there is none V dog with 5000 euro and that guy was just playng with me.

Yes it is possible to buy a good V female for 5000E. There are also breeders who list pups at or above this price. Lesli is a very well constructed female.  She also comes from very good lines, and has considerable potential. I personally would not pay that price for a pup, but I do not gamble. Some believe that a pups value is great BECAUSE they pay a high price, and they want a nice pretty pet whose price they can cite in bragging to their friends. Those who might value the dog for its show and breeding potential might decide that they were willing to make that gamble to acquire a female pup with the right combination of bloodlines and the right attributes. I might have quoted a slightly higher price for one of the females that I do not wish to sell, but so far I have simply stated that they are not available. Best Wishes, Jonah

Your english is not very good (better than my other anguages though), therefore I may be not be understanding you, however, why don't you just say no and move on?  I don't get it.  If it is just that your pride or feelings are hurt, well get over it.  That is going to happen many times in your life.  Just stop emailing him and forget about dealing with him.  Simple really.

I can understand that dealing with such "time wasters" is hard, frustrating and overall a pain in the ass.  The solution is easy, tell them you wont sell them any dogs.  Yes, you can buy a good "V" bitch for 5000 Euro, very often for less then that....BUT the potential of a bitch who has already been shown is already determined, where is the potential of a top young dog is not yet determined.  When you have a young bitch or a young dog that has the potential to become "VA" in the right hands, then yes, that young dog is worth 5000 euro or more.  :) Lesli is a very nice bitch, I would not let her go with any sum :)

You didn't understand something. I told that price beacause i was sure that he wouldn't agree. He wanted to pay 1000 euro for Lesli !!!!!!!!!!

Tell me, is that her suitable price????? Of course no. I told him to stop emailing me but he still does this untill today. I'm very angry with him

but i can't do anything, he doesn't stop.

Put his email address on your "spam" list and be done with it.  Posts from him will then go into the Junk Email folder.
