Chaos found the sprinkler today He was biting at the water, and having a ball. How have your dogs been keeping cool?

1 you can't pry away from the water hose or sprinkler, the other sleeps in his water trough.

OK... my boy has been a real water hog around the house, and my girl enjoys her bath, so I went to K-mart & bought a baby pool for them. Well wouldn't you know it, my girl hops right in, lays down , drinks, and just generally enjoys herself. Mr. Tough-guy (AKA Dog-boy, or Beckett) would not go in. When he finally did, he looked down and noticed the pictures of cartoon crabs, octopi, and seahorses, and started jerking his feet up and shaking them, like he had been bitten by a crab! LMAO! jo

Chaos had a kiddie pool. He turned it over and dug a hole through it trying to dig more water out! Why do they do thattttttt, lol.

I think that i'm on my 4th kiddie pool here. I have a small rubbermaid livestock tub that works great too. I'd like to get the larger version of it because they wouldn't be able to destroy it.

Xtra is my water dog! She started with puddles , so I bought a small kiddie pool. I shoulda bought the bigger one! Yette likes the kiddie pool too, she gets in and lays down dunking her belly then stands up! Here is Xtra splashing around on the first day I got it.
We have 40 acres with a pond on it about 23 miles from our home. The first time we went up this year,Yette the Beaver swam for sticks non stop. Xtra played along the edge, Ivan barely got in (chicken). Last weekend (I forgot my camera) Yette went in and Xtra dove in with leaps and bounds. Found herself over her head. She learned how to swim!! We kept throwing sticks to get Ivan in (definate stick dog) and Xtra would get them and taunt him right out of reach unmercifully! It was so funny!! I just love dogs that can make me laugh until I hurt!!
