I just spent more time on frawley's site than I should have.  Part of it was informative and part of it I spent shaking my head thinking, "I dont think I've ever met anyone this full of himself."  I thought Rudy Drexler was bad... wow.  I wanted to purchase a video from him, does anyone have any of his vids?

Unfortunatly I purchase a couple of his videos.  As you said he is so full of himself all he talks about is how great a trainer he is.   The video production is terrible and shows very little actual training most Ed just talking about himself

Don't waste your money  The monks of New Skete was a much better training video.  But I have to believe there are better training videos out there maybe some one can point us in the right direction

I have bought several of his videos in the past.  I've gotten some good info out of them, but yes you are correct this guy thinks he's God's gift to dog training so just be patient while he's busy promoting himself.  Watch with a critical eye, take note of ideas that you'd like to incorporate in your own training program, and use the "mute" button as appropriate.

when I started on my journey of dog world, Leerburg videos was my only pathfinder. The company is good at advertising and marketing. It may not be the final best product.

I personally found the videos pretty Ok information maybe not the end of the dogworld journey but definitely good value for money.

One can always hunt the net and find other products and free to purchase them and try out.

They guy runs a business, so yeah he markets the hell out of himself and his business.  And he has done a great job at  it, if you want to bash him for that, well I guess you probably should have better things to do, but to each his own.  I have gotten a few of his videos, and looking back starting out I think they gave a me a good foundation.  That doesn't mean I think everything in there is the gospel or the only way, but there isn't one video that didn't have something in it that I could use.

I have his flinks videos on drive and focus, a helper training video, tracking video, retrieve video and I think an OB video.  those videos alone won't get you to the USA nationals, but they'll give you a good start and good foundation and that's what is impt.  as you learn more and see more things that you thought were crazy will make sense and other things that yout hought were the only way to do things will not seem so great any more.  learn everything you can and develope what works for you.  One thing you'll really learn, is that jealousy and backstabbing is fairly common in dog sports, especially on message boards.
