Aluminum crates - Page 1

 Does anyone know of a place/website where I can find aluminum crates for less than the $450-=$500.00 I've been seeing...???Been all over the web and found a few I like but they are all around $4-500 bucks a pop...

 Looking to spend something between $250-$350.00 but want quality aluminum not garbage...Want 2, obviously for GSDs over 80lbs...

 Any help will be appreciated...

try www.leerburg.com. They have a range in what you are looking. I liked the quality myself. Its quite good construction and intelligently made

take that back. They are on the expensive side. WOuld not be in your budget.

These would probably be the closest I can think of.  I have never seen one so cannot vouch for their quality.

  Been to both of those sites was trying to find a place where I didn't have to spend that much but its looking

  more and more if I want aluminum crates I will have to pay as I haven't seen anything for less that the $400+ range...

I talked to someone on vaccation.  He said all I have to do is give the specs and he ca weld it.  Maybe you should look into shops in your area.  These people do a fantastic job and I really don't think a hinged box would be too difficult.

This is the second guy who told me he could do it for me.  I just never went through with either.  The first guy was very interested when I told him how much these crates go for.

  Will give that some thought, need to locate someone in the area and see what they can do...Makes me wonder why I didn't think to go that way...Sheesh, after looking on line and seeing what they want for a good aluminum crate its just crazy...Might "rethink" that one while I'm at it...???

  Right now not sure what crate to switch to, I do know I do not like the Varikennel crates which is what i use now...
