UNFORTUNATLY HIS PAPERS WHERE SENT WITHOUT THE STAMP AND WHERE SENT BACK TO THE BROKER
AND NEVER RETURNED I HAVE COPIES BUT NEED ORIGINALS TO GET AKC CAN ANYONE HELP TO TRACK DOWN DUPLICATES
OR NEW FROM THE KENNEL CLUB.

you do not need originals for AKC registration, but for most imports you will need an export pedigree from the national kennel club of the country the dog is from. Contact the AKC about what you need, ignore what they say about originals, if you send copies it will be fine (if they give you a hard time ask to speak to the supervisor of the akc foreign registration desk). Then get the paperwork needed. The person who sold you the dog should be able to help you with paperwork from within that country, or contact the kennel club itself.
