Agree with Helen, written with knowledge, logic, passion, frustration, care and concern about our breed. But! Will the people who have the power to change or amend Listen. Bill Owen.

Well said David, its a shame we couldn't do away with the KC all together and run something similar to the SV!
Its seems the KC will register anything that is breathing.
The KC are not interested in whats best for the dogs, its just a money making event for them on a long term basis.
I here from a Bulldog guy yesterday that some of their females have maybe 2 to 4 pups and all nearly done by section! then if only one puppy comes out alive they will record 6 living pups with the KC, and i said why do this!!!
He replied.... well, they do it because then when you have dogs that have no KC numbers but look good, we can sell them has pedigree bull dogs which are registered with the KC!
I said this is terrible to do something like this, he said he would never do it but he knows people who do.
He said it looks good for Joe public for the dog to be registered, so if these people are doing it then who the hell else is doing this type of thing, right under the KC noses...
They have no control at all on anything, and like i said its just money money money to them. NOT HEALTH & WELLFARE at all.
The GSD is one of the Best breeds in the whole of world, and the SV have it down to a tee.
we should all take a leaf out of their book and try and start something rolling here in the UK, we need to find people we trust to start and put things in order here in the UK before its to late, and our shows disappear altogether.
With the CC now being suspended for 2012 the shows over here will mean nothing anymore and less and less people will turn out to pay their money for what!
I hope we can find something and someone to help our lovely breed break away from the KC, because form what i can see you will never WIN with them, just has long as they are registering our litters for us and they will keep doing this because its money to them, i don't see them saying we will STOP all GSD registrations, for the same conditions that they take our CCs away for...NEVER to much revenue to lose.

You are to be commended for your well reasoned, and totally accurate assessment of the situation with the Kennel Club (KC),and the GSD.
I do hope the KC have the courage to answer the points put forward with their reasons for same.
By the way Blake some breeders have been registering more pups per litter since the KC put the 8 year cut off point into operation,and 1 litter per year sanction,but who checks on how many are in a litter NO-ONE, THE SV DO !!
I hope this "Impressions of the Kennel Club" is published in every newspaper in the country, and the TV people who made such a big thing about the programme televised before Crufts now have the wherewithall to put the other side as a balance to that biased report. I will not lose any sleep waiting!!

Very well written, has David sent it to the press? Too spineless for that, he is hoping someone else will do all the work as usual. Stirs up emotions then backs off letting everyone else do the hard work. And you call me a spineless coward!!! Rather stupid comment don't you think, actually an impossibility,lol. Ta Ta for now David, " until you find me", lmfao.
