I would like opinions of the experts here on this possible mating. Keep in mind that the bitch will have her hips and elbows xrayed prior to breeding. I appreciate all your help.

Just having hips and elbows done is not enough.  What has she done/ will she do to prove breed worthiness.  What titles or type of work will you do with her.

Thanks for your feedback. I have done obedience with her, but no titles. I would like to pursue this with her, however, at this time I am unable to do this. She is great protector and watch dog and very loyal. She is friendly with our friends and family, especially our grandchildren. The only time she shows any aggression is when people come to the door or walk by our fence. This is easily corrected, she stops when we call her to us.

She knows all commands, sit, stay down, etc and learns quickly.  She has lots of energy...and we run her often.

She has quite a loving personality....she would rather be praised with petting and a hug rather than a treat. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is a wonderful dog, in our opinion, as well as beautiful.

OK, I saw one pedigree, what is the other???

I am not so big on titles for a bitch, as they are a pain to title with the heat cycles and all, but some level of training should be accomplished, as getting along with cats and dogs is not really a reason to consider breeding. Nor is running the fence and "easily" called off a good thing either.

Learning quickly.......again, that is why we have GSD's cause why "F" with a stinkin chow for a month when you can get a GSD to do the same thing almost right away???

Hugs over food. Poor food drive, not so good in my opinion, as it can make some upper level exersizes SUCK to train. So another reason not to breed this one.

Good with children.......OK again, this could mean thresholds that are a bit too high, and without training...........so again, not a reason to breed.

So not a lot of reasons to breed the little sucker, but if you are going to anyway, you need to find a really extreme male showlines dog. AAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA like that exists : )

Again, not a reason to breed.
