the good and bad about buying from them.
looking at a few nuky litters but the females info is very vague. i've emailed "T" about the bitches i'm interested in and she seems to avoid quite a few questions??
should i look else where?
has anyone had problems if their dog does end up with bad hips?

I emailed them about a nuky female last week and didn't get much of an answer, either. They sent another picture (headshot) but nothing about age or price. Doesn't really bother me as there are so many other dogs out there for sale and I'm having a good time looking. My friend was interested in the nuky daughter (Doris) but guess I'd want one with more drive.

"has anyone had problems if their dog does end up with bad hips?"
To my most recent knowledge, you won't get a contract or guarantee, but they do try to make things right in a fair and reasonable fashion should things not pan out right. A phone talk will reveal more details than email, without waiting for vague replies, or no reply at all.

well that's my point, what kind of a breeders are they?
that's why i asked about experiences others have had with these people.

I've purchased 5 dogs from them, two adults from other breedings, three from breedings at their station. The "puppy program" is a great idea, but only for the lazy handler who doesn't want to start a pup until later. But a good way to ensure that an older pup that you may buy isn't too far behind the "learning curve". Buying brokered adults is a complex question that you didn't ask, so doesn't pertain here. As far as pups go, I was very pleased with my most recent purchase, but would be rather selective of other matches, particularly those that do not carry the "Eurosportu" name, because intimate first hand details about the litter are very important if you are not able to be present to select your pup. There are many levels to do your research, but ultimately a clear channel of communication is essential. I would myself only continue to do business by phone, and not email with this particular breeder. If the breeder is not able to answer all of your questions in "real time" reasonably, I would look elsewhere.

We had a similar problem when contacting them where they wouldnt answer direct questions. I had to ask several times and it would go ignored. Responses to other questions were very brief. That is just my experience.
We went elsewhere because of it. There are so many breeders out there who communicate directly and have nice dogs. If you are looking for long term breeder support and someone to help along the way it seems you could do better.
I know 2 people ending up with a dog with bad hips and one with elbows and Eurosport would not work with them, but all I have is second hand info, nothing personal, so take it for what it is worth. There could have been more there, I only heard one side of the story. If you are worried about hips maybe you would be better off with a breeder who has an actual contract and has a good rep for standing behind thier dogs.

Right now Tanyia is in Slovakia so this may contribute to not getting a quick response or a vague response. I can tell you that when I called her around the time I bought my dog in Oct. she was in Slovakia then also and had no problem speaking to me in great length answering my questions. Course my situation was a little different since I purchased a dog that was already titled and not theirs so some of the questions I had she did not have answers to but she did find out and get back to me via email. I found them to be very good people to work with- even up to now they've been willing to help in any way they could to make things right. But as it goes in any business you can't seem to please everyone all the time so you have to kinda make your own call when you hear a "bad report" because you should take into consideration how many satisfied customers they've had as opossed to disgruntled ones. I'd buy from them again, but on a puppy stand point it's gonna be a gamble no matter where you buy even if you can view the dogs.

I have purchased 2 adults through Laura that works for Taunya and 2 puppy program puppies. I have never had a problem getting in touch with either Laura or Taunya. I know when someone is in Europe it is a little more difficult to contact that person. However, I have never meet more forthcoming people in my life. They were a total joy to work with and I would purchase more dogs from them in the future hands down. Are you asking specific questions? Sometimes it is difficult to answer an e-mail when someone is not being specific in their question.
