I was hoping I to get some constructive criticism on my dog.
The link is : http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/475508.html
I know that I have stacked him in such a way that his front legs are too stretched. other than that
are there any comments on my dog or the way I have stacked him. The only reason I am asking for
comments is cos I just wanna learn and improve my knowledge of the breed and the standard and
I figured the best place to start would be with my dog. I would be grateful for any feedback and I hope
I don't get bashed too much

He was around 10months when I took this pic. I will put a new one up of him
but for now, any comments on this pic would be greatly appreciated.
thanks again

Maverick13,
He looks to have a nice topline and a good shoulder for as young as he was (10 months).
His croup is not the best, but he is still growing and it's (as you've said) not the best stacked photo, which can always be a
contributing factor.
You might also try having someone else stack him while you get his attention so that he looks straight, rather than to the side.
Good luck!

Nice looking dog. His stack in the front as you say is not so good - he would look better with his front legs directly under his chest, not out in front. Also can't see his head or ears at all in the picture so can't judge that. But he looks overall very nice, good topline, angulation - especially his shoulder is very good - it is not common to see a very good shoulder so this is very noteworthy. He appears to be a little heavy, maybe he needs to lose a few pounds to be correct lean weight.

If you can, get another picture, but have him looking straight ahead. I throw things up into the air for Chaos to make him look so we get get the full view of the dog. Nice looking dog though. And yes, put the front legs directly under the dog. They are stretched out a bit.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. eichenluft your right he is a bit heavy in this picture and i have been trying so hard reduce his weight. Its not that he is fat but he is big boned and I have been trying hard to keep him thin. Currently he is on royal canin and he gets one meal a day. He has lost some some weight, but i will post a new pic of him and then everyone can tell me what they think. I was thinking of showing him and was wondering if i should? pls let me know. thanks so much for the comments. really appreciate it

If your dog can hold a stcck, allow someone other than your self to examine him, let someone check his teeth, etc. then yes I think you should show him. He is starting a bit late, but you could enter him in the Junior class {1 year to 18 months} Is he AKC, UKC or something else? If AKC, have fun! They don't really notice your dog unless you have someone WELL known at the end of your lead! That's why I don't do AKC for one. I will be damned if I'm going to pay someone to show my dog. I can do that my self! And AKC cost wayyyy more than UKC does to title your dog. UKC is very friendly, and they insist that you show your own dog, or you can have a friend do it too, for NO pay, or any other favors! If they find out that a favor was done {even buying them dinner believe it or not} your dog will be disqualified. Good luck if you decide to show. Chaos and I are having a ball. I enjoy it way more than when we do obedience trials.
