You'd probably get them approx a Month or two (It depends if OFA is real busy evualating other X-rays). This is about the time I got my results.

Has you vet mailed them? When I had my males xrays done I waited a month and a half still nothing from OFA. I called them and they said they didnt get them, so I called my vet and they still had them there. Any more I just ask for the xrays when there taken and I mail them myself.

How long does it take to get DNA results back? I'm still waiting on my puppy's registration, because AKC screwed up her sire's DNA sample!

It can also depend on whether the Xrays submitted were digital or conventional films.  If the vet does digital Xrays it is lightning fast- here's why:

With conventional Xray films that are mailed, when OFA receives them, they forward them to the first of three vets.  After the first vet is finished looking at them, he/she will package them back up and MAIL them to the second vet, who will in turn view, evaluate, package and forward to vet number 3 for the same.  Finally, the OFA gets them back from vet number 3, and tallies the general concensus of the vets as to what the rating should be.  This can take quite some time, with the US Postal service at the helm.

On the other hand, if your vet does digital Xrays, they can be emailed immediately to OFA, and OFA in turn emails them in one click to the three vets, who can look at them, evaluate and email back.  It's easy to understand how this could significantly reduce the amount of turn-around time!

Log on to the OFA website and seach their records using your dog's name. They numbers are usually on the site way before the owner gets them in the mail. Also, there are very often spelling errors on this site, so if nothing comes up the first time search again using a unique part of your dog's name.

Last time I had xrays done and sent to OFA it was only taking about 4 wks to do.  I called up for status, and was told they now scan them in before sending on.  Previously it was always around 8wks due to them being mailed from vet to vet. So at least the conventional way has been sped up a bit.
