Shepherd Woman

Since I always post pictures of Chaos, I thought it would only be right to post pictures of my Princess and Bree.  Princess is the black and tan, and Bree is the white  : - }

They're great looking just like Chaos.  Tell me what kind of collar is that Bree is wearing?

SW, Princess has a GORGEOUS head! I just love it!  Is she German or American bloodlines?

Hi.  Thanks :  }  Princess is part American, part German.  She is very long and lean.  Well, 7 years old now, she has put on a few pounds!  But she still looks awesome.  Her dad is Ben - Jo's Deputy Dillon and her mom is Melbow's Sammee Von Hof.  Some in her pedigree that I have found onilne, are Yacco Vom Furstenberg, Howard's Magic Moment, Alator's Illusion of Ben-Jo.

I had NEVER had a GSD in my life and didn't quite know what to buy when I went looking for her.  I found out from a friend about this lady that bred GSD's, but she was a yes! back yard breeder!  I called the lady and asked her if she had any pups to look at and she said yes that she had one left.  Princess was 13 weeks then.  The woman said that she couldn't sell her when the rest of the pups were ready, because she had a bumb foot!  It was heeled then, but she had a hard time selling her so she basically gave her to me for next to nothing to get her off of her hands!  I kept asking her if Priness was suppose to look like that {her ears}! and she told me over and over that yes, they are and she will be fine, lol.  I asked her what had happened to her foot as there was a small scar on it.  She said that she had a small chicken wire fence put up on the front yard so the dogs could play outside for a bit.  She went to the store and came back.  Princess was hanging upside down by her back foot outside the fencing struggling to get free!  She never did take her to the vet even when she knew the pup was injured.  I went ahead and took Princess, and had my vet check her immediatly.  They said that when that happened, Princess fractured her back foot and it would never really be the same, but it was heeled though.  You can tell that she had injured it as it is curved somewhat.  But she is doing well, and we love her to death.  She is the one how ever that goes after my smaller dog and hurts her if we don't stop her.  We are working on that.  Here's a shot of Princess when she was a pup.  I called her the ugly duckling then, lol and she turned into a Princess!

Oh, forgot.  The collar around Bree's neck is a homemade Christmas collar that she wore in our local Christmas parade, lol

I'm going through that gawky puppy stage with my pup right now too, but to me she still looks beautiful!  (And so does Princess!)

Was Bree just a pup in that picture? She's got the biggest ears..looks like she still needs to grow into them!

Bree was 2 years old there.  She still has the bigggg ears and she is 5 now.  We call her radar some times, LOL.
