This GSD is a very rare GSD. He came to me at a very high financial cost from the Netherlands. I have had plenty of dogs but never one like Blitz.. I have been into Schutzhund training for about 8 years and a member of USA Schutzhund Clubs Of America since 2002. With my disabilities, I had to give up a number of sports that I loved. BUT, I was introduced to Schutzhund. I found a new love. Something that I could physically do BUT AT A COST! The cost I speak of is pain, suffering and exhaustion. Sometimes I end up bedridden for a few weeks after training. It's not easy for me folks. Friends that I have trained with know how I get winded very easily and how I cannot walk sometimes. I never had a goal in Schutzhund. I just loved what I was doing with my dogs and the people that I was meeting. When I realized how special this GSD was, I began to show him in competition. I showed him at the 2006 GSD Nationals and did not train him at all before the 2007 North Americans. He had not tracked since the 2006 Nationals and I pulled a 291 at a club trial the week before the North Americans. At the North Americans, he could have won. I gave away his points with my errors. The dog did not fail me, I failed him. I am speaking of the 2007 FH Vice Champion-Xablitz Von Sulieseraad. His performance at the North Americans enlightened me to the fact that this is a dog that can win a National Championship and can make the World Team. After the North Americans, I decided to have a goal. I want to make the 2008 World Team. I do this out of love for my dog, not ego. I do not do dogs as a business. Now, to the gist of it..................
