Can anyone tell me if they ever heard of or seen a 6 month old pup with no canines coming in?He has all his other adult teeth ,but has his baby canines still firmly in place.This is a friends pup. Any info would be helpfull.thanks.

give him a cow hoof to chew on.....i bet  they will loosen and come out  and probably right behind them    has a vet looked at them    a vet that knows about german shepherds........and Im not being funny either...there are vets and there are VETS>..

Yes it happens. Give the dog something to chew on, knuckle bones or something hard. My dog was the same. I didn't think his teeth would ever come out and his sister now is doing the same thing. I wouldn't worry to much about it. Try playing tug with a towel to help wiggle them around too. One day you will okk and one or 2 will be missing.

Thank you yellowrose and 4pack, The owner is off to get bones and hooves. And yes the vet is next week.

My pup is about 6 months & 2 weeks old and juuuust lost his baby top canines. About a week prior to that the adult canines were poking through the gum behind the baby ones.
