ok have a request here's what we are looking for...
Female for breeding....
Young female 1 to 3 yrs. old, Prelims or OFA done and guarantee on Hips/Elbows required.
SchH title, KKL or SV rating would be great but not necessary (dependant upon age).
Must be Confident, Must be Correct per standard, Must be Healthy... No allergies, history of bloat, seizures or otherwise...
Would preffer, Plush coat, black and red or reder than tan, saddle, housebroke, good with kids, cats, & other dogs...
The directly above single line are not a must, but will be given prefference.
Lineage must include OFA's. Titles in lineage not a must but would be prefferable.
Sorry for posting here but....
did not want to post this as an ad, because last time I had everyone wanting to ship a dog from Germany. Posted here so that if anyone knows of anyone in the North West that might have such a dog could let them know or let me know.
I will drive to this dog, meet this dog, meet the breeder, and bring the dog home if it is the "right" dog. I WILL NOT ship.
Thank You. Mitch

Sadly I am considering really either scaling back on the GSD or simply going to just competitive obedience and agility. I am kind of depressed right now about the direction I see people going with the breed. Before anyone gets their knickers in a knot, I am not talking about anyone in particular and I point the finger in the mirror as often as not. It seems no one gets along, no one cares to consider another's point of view, everyone has an opinion, people with AM bloodline dogs trash ppl with working or west germ. line show dogs, and working people trash Am. breeders and west germ. bloodlines. There simply is no way around the fact that the GSD is a poltical minefield. I am frustrated and depressed about the people behind the breed. Frankly I am pretty picky on what I like in a GSD but what I like most is that LOTS of people love the breed and for LOTS of different reasons. No one has to submit to why I like the breed and it doesnt mean either one of us are wrong in why we love this breed. I said all that to say this... I have a couple females that I would be willing to sell to someone who will not treat them like a commodity. If you are interested in more info Echo, I can certainly provide it for you. I am not interested in the money aspect as much as I am interested that they have a family.

von symphony, I agree with you about the people. The dogs are very enjoyable but the people in the breed make it hard. Some days I don't want anything to do with this board/breeding/or even trialing. I just love my dogs and want whats best for them, keep them as happy as they make me.

Lisa, Definately interested, Please email me some details on how to contact you. at an appropriate time. Thank You :-)
Don Suzanne Eviston, never heard of her (I'm sorry to say) I am in Oregon do you know how to get into touch with her ?
4pack You hit the nail on the head !! sometimes this board gets me really down in the dumps, But when I go to bed and have my entorage in follow (of they're own free will) I have to leap for the bed before they get there or I end up with no place... 3 to 5 GSD's on the bed with me and hubby makes for crowded sleeping, But I would not have it any other way !!! :-)

Good Lord, Yes, It's even a California King, from what I hear they are the bigger ones. LOL
sometimes it's hard to tell who is still in bed in the mornings, the hubby and the dogs or just the dogs, ROFL.
There is barely room enough, but you NEVER get cold. Heartbeats, Soft cuddley hair, and clean ears from all the slobbering crew is great !
