Harley,
I believe Luthansa has direct flights. I know they fly directly to Logan Airport in Boston, so I would suspect they also fly directly to NY.
I'm not sure about the price.
It is about a 12 or 13 hour flight to Boston, so add another hour or so to NY.

Lufthansa is a great airline for shipping dogs from Europe. I can't tell you if they are cheaper than others but they will take the best care of the dogs. They take pretty good care of the people on the flight as well. Deffinatly my favorite airline.

KLM also does direct flights as well I believe - I paid about 550 Euro which included the handling costs of going though the shipping company and the crate to have her shippped from Amsterdam (Schirpol) to Washington-Dulles Int (IAD)....it was only an 8 hour flight though...the longest I have been on a flight from Italy to Newark is 9 hours..it usually doesnt take that long.
Continental is the best but the most expensicve - I have heard that KLM is vey good but quite as good but cheaper, and Lufthansa is one of the cheapest I believe but I dont know how their actual price or quality of service...I had a bad experience flying with them to Milano so I avoid them generally.

What's the matter? Don't like to be called out as lazy? You're wasting your time on this site when you should be visiting airline sites. Don't get upset! You are like the rest of society, waiting for a handout. Never wanting to do anything for themselves. Maybe, if you call your mommy, she can make it all better!
